Content Editor

We are looking for a content editor to join our small and friendly team.

About Us

www.sarahmillerandpartners.com

We are an independent creative and strategic brand agency, with clients in the following sectors: lifestyle, hospitality, property, design, travel, architecture and fashion.

Just as editors are curators of their brands, we help our clients to curate theirs - we work by building bespoke teams of partners for each client. We combine market intelligence, strategic thinking, and industry knowledge with an ‘editorial’ approach to enhancing the user experience in our development of brand strategies, positioning and identities for the luxury lifestyle sector from property companies to major hotel brands.

Although we have a core, London-based team, our partners and clients are based around the world. One moment we could be working on a privately commissioned coffee table book for a client in Gstaad, the next we could be consulting on the brand and creative strategy for a private members’ club in Ibiza. We are currently working with cultural initiatives in the Middle East and also a new global hotel collection.  This is a first-hand opportunities to learn and develop professionally from our CEO, the founding editor-in-chief of Condé Nast Traveller and a leading figure in the luxury lifestyle industry.

Purpose of the role

The content editor is responsible for assisting our CEO with content for both client projects and our own company communications.

The content editor works closely with all members of the core team, as well as our external partners, to project manage and help oversee the development and progress of these projects. This means seeing projects through from concept - developing initial client bids and proposals; to ideation and implementation - helping to manage content production schedules and writing, editing and proofreading content assets for clients.

The content editor is also responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency in all content. Our work is as bespoke and diverse as our client base, so adaptability and an ability to work to deadlines is key.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Writing brand strategy, research, and development

  • Writing, editing, fact-checking, and proofreading of copy for client’s print and digital assets

  • Creating and managing client editorial calendars, content planners and production schedules

  • Managing, writing copy and sourcing assets for our company website and external communications (e-newsletters)

  • Drafting and producing client-facing presentations, proposals, and contracts

  • Liaising with and managing relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders across a range of departments (Graphic Design, PR etc.)

  • Assisting with client social media guidance and management
